  1. I liked the tone and mood you guys et of for the story, very ominous. However , I feel like it should have had a few more different shots to make it more interesting.

  3. Nifty idea. I felt like it took awhile for the story to pick up. Great shot composition though and I liked the black and white filter.

  4. this video was atmospheric, great music and had tension, but I feel you could have shot more close ups and reaction shots to help tell us whats going on in our main characters head.

  5. Interesting concept, I liked the way the music made you think from the beginning that something was going to happen. I also think it worked really well that you chose to do it in black and white rather than color.

  6. I really enjoyed the audio and your choice to make the video black and white. It all went very well with your story line. I would have liked to have seen some more variety in your shots. It seemed to be a lot of the same exact angles throughout the entire video. Loved your very last shot!

  7. I feel like it was a great story. Feel like you could have added a little bit more b-roll of different shots to make it more interesting. But I feel like it was very suspensful video and I really liked the shots you did get!

  8. this video was very interesting. I like how you filmed it in black and white! I felt like the mid section of your video dragged on for a pretty long time but the ending was nice! I liked how he knocks the smaller tackle box over so the audience can see what is inside as he runs away. I really enjoyed the last shot of him running away with the skull in the foreground! Great job!

  9. The music was a good choice for what you put together, as well as the black and white. The center could have been cut shorter, but the winding of the real toward the end w/ the music went well to give tension. Very clean.

  10. I thought you guys ddi a great job with your camera shots. I liked the black and white color, also very smooth transitions. I would have liked to see a little bit more action, the fishing scene was a little to dragged out. The music in the background was a nice choice, made it more suspenseful. Overall great job.

  11. I love the black and white, it fit nicely with the music and the theme of the video. I think that you also have nice clear shots, however I think that there could have been more variety of shots and transitions throughout the video because some of the scenes seemed drawn out. I understood the theme of the video, but I thought the overall concept of the narrative seemed a bit unclear. I think this could have been resolved with more shots and transitions.

  12. Very interesting video.
For starters, I had a couple issues with it as far as the pacing goes. The earlier shots dragged on a lot with not a lot of stuff happening in them. Because it was slow, it was kind of hard to understand what exactly was happening. The first 2/3's of the video could've been summed up in about a minute. It would've been more interesting (similar to your original idea) if there was more mystery surrounding the guy that left the box. And if there was some more interaction between the two to where the other guy was getting suspicious that also would've played well. Had you done that, you could've utilized close-ups of the face more and build suspense that way. The climax was done really well though. I really liked how you implemented the kick of the box into the next frame showing the skull, very creative.

    1. Whoops, forgot something. I really liked the choice of music and color. The jazz mixed with the gray tones really created a great noire theme.
